Fantastic! Everything was fresh, the salads were crisp and crunchy, and the other dishes that were part of the buffet were delicious. The staff was very friendly, nice and prompt, and we were asked many times if we wanted to sample other meats, even though our cards were red face up. We went there twice in 5 days during our vacation last week and had a wonderful experience both times. The second time was busier - Saturday night - but the service was super-fast. I had to turn the card because the meat was coming too fast. You will enjoy this place, it's authentic (we've been to several like it, on other continents too) and everything is delicious. Whoever says otherwise doesn't know what they're talking about. Try the Cancao red wine with your dinner, you'll love it. ~ Irina M

Best Brazilian steakhouse in the South Shore - Rio’s blew us away! The buffet had a wide array of food, and each cut of meat was better than the last (I especially recommend the picanha). Kamila, our hostess, was friendly and patient with my attempts to speak Portuguese—really, all the staff were attentive. We came with two friends from Germany, who also loved their first churrasco experience. I was surprised at how spacious the inside was, as our whole party was comfortable throughout our experience. The desserts and fresh juices were other highlights. Would definitely recommend and will be back soon! Overall: Phenomenal food and drinks, friendly service, and a quite high-quality atmosphere at a reasonable price. ~ Grant W

Went for first time on a Saturday night for a 16th birthday. We had a reservation and were seated within a few minutes. Our waiter came over quickly and told us about the restaurant and took drink orders. Drinks came out quickly, I had a mojito and it was so good!! Garlic bread was the first option to come around and it was so good! Best garlic bread I've had. Everyone raved about the meats and the salad bar had great options like plantains, sweet potatoes, squash, salads and so much more. The grilled pineapple was a very popular choice at our table and the staff was happy to bring it by many times for us. The staff was so friendly and brought out any specific meats we were looking for. All the staff came over and sang happy birthday. We all enjoyed it. Space was limited in there, so I would suggest a reservation. ~ Janine C

We have been here before, but was really pleasantly surprised to walk in and see that they renovated. The place is absolutely gorgeous. They thought of everything extremely clean everywhere. No detail went unnoticed. Bathrooms were kept super clean. Staff was super friendly and helpful went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing, not too salty but plenty flavorful. The salad bar was kept very nice and clean. The dining room itself was beautifully designed. Music was on but not too loud. Our two waitresses were absolutely terrific Rataela and Kamila so sweet. The whole staff were full of smiles and went above and beyond. Can’t wait to get back soon ~ Celestial H

Easily one of the best resturants I've ever eaten in, with the best service.. Today was my second time and my only complaint is that I needed to be rolled to the car after (so much deliciousness)! My grazer partner stuck with the enormous "salad" bar that includes beans, rice, fried plantain, Shepard pie, some kind of succulant chicken and more. I had a little of that and A LOT of meat; lamb, 5 different cuts of mouth watering beef, bacon wrapped chicken, wings, pork loin, garlic bread, and my favorite-->cinnamon encrusted grilled pineapple! When I thought I couldn't handle another bite, out came my birthday brownie, hot, with the best vanilla ice cream I've ever had. Oh! Almost forgot the Rio Steakhouse drink--muddled strawberries, limes, white cranberry w/ a prosecco topper! Foodie delight! ~ Karen W

Outstanding!! Wow!! Ok first of all the service was fantastic. The food and the chefs need a round of applause! Truely brilliant and talented . The presentation is beautiful and everyone is very nice. I absolutely love this place! Tonight was my first time here. The meat is cooked perfect, the pineapple desert served at the end is delicious and now the only way I'll eat a pineapple. The buffet and it's all its fixings are delicious. I tried everything and it did not disappoint. I only have one piece of advice, go in hungry because there is so much food and you will want to try it all. Raffaella is one of the best waitresses I’ve ever had she treats myself as well as my family with the best service and the rest of the staff is top notch as well, now as far as the food goes I can’t say enough good things about it other than bring loose pants and if you have any extra room try the lava cake it is to die for. Whenever we go there we call ahead and make reservations and Raffaella knows us so well that she will put 2 bottles of Prosecco on ice for myself and wife and my family. I would give this place 10 stars if I could. You can’t beat the price for the amount of great food and service that you receive here ~ Eddie J

This place is great! Rio Brazlian Steakhouse recently catered my wedding and it was phenomenal! Natalia was the person in charge of catering and did an excellent job! Her and her staff were extremely personable an provided excellent service throughout the planning process and day of the event. She worked with other coordinators to make sure all bases were covered. The menu selection was incredible and there were plenty of options to chose from. It was well worth the money! Everyone at the wedding really enjoyed the experience even though it was many people's first time trying rodizio style food! I would definitely reccomend! ~ Shannon E

I've been coming here for 10+ years and was able to finally visit after the renovation; it is stunning! The food is STILL out of this world, and now they have a nice little ambiance to go with it. When you visit, they make you feel like family, and to see their growth in the last decade has been a pleasure. These folks really deserve to be successful; and the quality of food, paired with the impeccable service is a recipe for success. Everyone from the bartenders and waitstaff, even the busboys are so kind and welcoming. Please keep doing what you are doing, because you are our go too place for dinner if we decide to dine out for the night! ~ McKayla C

What a great date night we had at Rio. The staff was fantastic. We made a reservation and when we arrived the table was ready. They set us up by the fireplace as we had indicated it would be a date night. Once seated the service was fantastic as well. The food was out of this world .It just kept coming! Steak was wonderfully cooked and well flavored. The salad bar and warm food was well set up and very tasty as well. I'd love to say dessert was great as well, but we were too full from out yummy dinner to try some. Thanks so much to our servers for all the attention and wonderful food on our date night. ~ Jon H

Food was delicious but most importantly Maykon went above and beyond. He was amazing and we would definitely go back again. My 3 year old son constantly wanted to show him things on his Kindle and he took the time to engage, versus other people (different restaurants, etc.) not giving him the time of day. It meant a lot to me to see how he interacted with all customers and went out of his way to make our experience a true pleasure. Definitely a must go to because said 3 year old is basically only a fruit and veggie eater and he couldn’t get enough of the meat there to eat, we were all shocked! The people here are incredibly friendly and the prices are honestly very decent for the quality of food here. I’m very excited to say that I come here at least once a month and I am someone that will always recommend people to go here. We do combination of takeout, but also dine in.the culinary experience here is highly above average and their presentation is phenomenal. This is a great place for functions, family, dinners, and any sort of event that you see fit. They cut the meat right in front of you and you can see it cooking the rice some of the best rice I’ve ever had. ~ Matthew C

It’s hard to believe anything is better than the food, but the service really is! They make you feel like you are a family friend. The staff are always so friendly, welcoming, engaging and set the tone for a wonderful meal. The food is delicious! Always well seasoned and cooked beautifully. The salad bar stays stocked and truly has something for everyone. They also have kids meals, which we found out one night our baby sitter cancelled. We always go for the drinks and desserts, because we want to stay and enjoy it all. We’re so excited to see the renovated space! ~ Trista L

The experience was great! The food was perfection and the staff went above and beyond! The staff were charming all the time and very hospitable. The inside is beautiful our party all left with a food coma. The alcoholic beverages were made insanely perfect the pina colada was so fresh and smooth the appearance and craftsmanship was outstanding I had to mention that!! I can’t believe we haven’t gone back to this place in 5 years, we all agreed never to wait that long for our next visit , I noticed they have outside seating. Five all day on this place!! The service is excellent! The cleanliness and decor is excellent. The food all is home made and fresh. Salad bar was so fresh. They have stewed chicken and beef. The rice is cooked to perfection. For the grilled meats that come around. To name a few... garlic steak, bacon garlic chicken, sirloin, garlic chicken, garlic lamb, ribs, and more. They are very generous and the meats keep coming. Again the staff makes the experience all so much better our waiters were so friendly and amazing. Great place I would recommend to anyone and will be coming again. ~ Dritan T

High quality Brazilian steakhouse. The meats are of high quality. They are pleasently varied, but there arent so many that waiters are constantly pusjing cheap meats on you. Additionally while the steaks are salted, they aren't oversalted, which I've found to be a trend at some rodizio places. Finally the service is excellent. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Normally I consider service to be secondary , but at a rodizio it is of paramount importance to the dining experience and the staff here is great. ~ Kyle M

My absolute FAVORITE Brazilian Restaurant! When the buffet is available, this restaurant has EVERYTHING! LOVE the salad choices, especially their KALE SALAD! Sometimes they even offer two different varieties of kale salad. My husband said the meats are juicy and delicious and he loves that they offer lamb. Top it off with their roasted pineapple, which even the kids will enjoy! The staff is friendly and accommodating. Sometimes their hours change, so call to be sure they’re open and if the buffet is available. This is a MUST TRY! ❤️ ~ Victoria H

Never have I been to such a place. Absolutely incredible. The meat, so many kinds, kept showing up at the table on skewers and they would it slice it off for you. Also on skewers were bacon wrapped chicken or beef. I can't begin to describe all the meats that kept coming. The best for me was the pineapple coated with cinnamon and sugar on a skewer. They knew I liked it so it kept appearing at the table. The staff was very efficient and fun. It was a very good experience. Definitely want to return!! ~ Karen Q

Delicous food, amazing staff,and no wait on memorial day weekend. Tourists,ditch the crazyness of downtown, drive a mile north to this place!!! Every cut of meat was mouth watering, definitely worth a return trip.we got desserts too, the cheesecake, chocolate cake and churros all hit the spot. They were very helpful and accommodating with our 9 month old little girl,she loved it too! The manager/owner(not sure, well dressed, seemed important. went above and beyond!thank you for a relaxing night out, we will be back. ~ Jameson L
